Lusting After Cinemagraphs

Thanks to Mr Jonny Allen, I have just discovered the gorgeous .gif work by visual artist Kevin Burg and photographer Jamie Beck. I am very late to the party.
I usually think .gifs are a bit tacky, tumblr fodder for emo artsy types who can’t come up with anything creative of their own. But throw in a NYFW angle and I’ll coo and sit mesmerised as much as the next .gif worshipper.
I feel like the last person in the world to discover the ‘Cinemagraph’ sets, but perhaps I’m not.

I guess HTML5 would be the way forward in the long term, but some of these still look great.
Not so keen on the repetition going on in the catwalk images, but love the first image.

I love these too, I blogged about them a while back!! :) Love your website (yes embarrassingly found it by reading about it online on the Daily Mail – I shall die burning in hell for reading it, I know) and big fan of your comments especially your FAQ part where you put those haters back in their place.
